It might be possible that the package you have downloaded to be corrupted or incompatible with the operating system where you're trying to install it. However, based on the information on the official website you can install the application on the following versions of Windows: Windows 7, Vista, and XP. For newer versions of Windows, simply apply a compatibility tweak using right click on file, then Properties > Compatibility.
